Reduce Laundry Costs by 30% – The Hidden Saving in Fast-Dry Reusable Pads

If you operate a 100-bed nursing home, laundry is one of your top three operational expenses. Water. Detergent. Labor. And most critically – energy to dry.

Most reusable bed pads on the market use standard nonwoven topsheets that trap moisture. They come out of the washer heavy and take 60–90 minutes in a industrial dryer. Multiply that by hundreds of pads per week, and you are looking at thousands of dollars in energy cost annually.

Our washable bed pad uses a warp-knit quick-dry surface. The open structure allows air to circulate freely, pulling moisture away from the surface and into the absorbent core. In independent laundry tests (simulating nursing home conditions), our pad dried 30% faster than standard reusable pads.

What 30% means in real numbers

Less energy: Shorter dryer cycles = lower electricity or gas bills.

Less labor: Staff spend fewer hours moving laundry between machines.

Less inventory: Faster turnaround means you need fewer backup pads to cover the same number of beds.

No trade-off on absorbency

Some manufacturers cut absorbency to achieve fast drying. We did not. Our pad still holds 2000ml – enough for overnight use even for heavy incontinence. The absorbent core is 360g needle-punched nonwoven with 70% viscose for softness and 30% polyester for structural integrity.

We are not selling a product. We are selling a lower operating cost for your customers. When you buy our pad for resale or in-house use, you are buying faster laundry cycles, happier staff, and better margins.
