What Is Bamboo Charcoal?

Bamboo charcoal is another new environmental protection material with excellent performance for the exploitation of bamboo resources. Made from bamboo, using nanotechnology, the bamboo is burned at extremely high temperatures (over 800˚C) to form a charcoal substance. This charcoal is then further processed to form very tiny nanoparticles, which are then embedded in other fibers. The color of the resulting yarn is natural gray, and there is no need for complex manufacturing processes during production.

Bamboo charcoal fiber is soft and drape, and has excellent adhesion. The antibacterial rate of bamboo charcoal fiber is 94%, which cannot be compared with other textile materials and absorbs water in winter and is cool in summer, because the cross-section of bamboo charcoal fiber is covered with oval holes of different sizes, so bamboo charcoal fiber can absorb and evaporate a lot of water.

Bamboo charcoal fiber has the characteristics of smooth, soft, odor repellent, moisture absorption, warm in winter and cool in summer, anti-bacterial and anti-ultraviolet. The bedding made of this material is fluffy and comfortable, and can expel excess heat and moisture from the body without getting angry or drying. Such as bamboo charcoal quilts, pillows, mattress toppers, blankets. In the next blog, I will specifically recommend our bamboo charcoal bedding to you.
