Choosing a new mattress is a difficult task. Following the Five steps will make it easier!

  1. How old is your mattress? Have your mattress been used for over 8 years old? Usually, a mattress should be replaced every eight years. However, if you are not sleeping well, you doesn’t need to follow this benchmark. It is your sleep habits that determine if you should replace your mattress. Do you have a poor sleep? It’s time to change your mattress!
  2. What type of mattress is best for you?  Usually, there are two main options—foam and coils. Foam gives you a unique feel. Coil is more traditional feel. For most sleepers, I recommend foam. However, if you are heavy (250+) and want a traditional feel, coils are the better choice.
  3. What is your budget? Budge is different for different people. Choose a appropriate budge. High price doesn’t mean a high quality. Usually, $1000 budge is ideal.
  4. What firmness do you need? The preferred firmness level for most sleepers falls between the 4-7 out of 10 range. This is appropriate for all sleeping positions and body types.
  5. How much do you weigh? The support of a mattress is highly affected by your body weight. Based on pressure points and total sinkage, weight has an effect on the support from your mattress.
