The union claims that the UK Express drivers shall be classed as workers rather than self-employed, and enjoy the basic worker\u2019s rights. Since the turn of the century, the self-employed labor force has increased by about 50%, while the incomes of the self-employed have been down by about \u00a360 a week.<\/p>\n<p>Ludkin claimed that the drivers for Amazon\u2019s delivery shall be classed as workers just like Uber drivers based on the law. Nigel added that we believe UK Express drivers shall not labeled as the self-employed, and are entitled to the basic worker\u2019s right including paid holiday and the national minimum wage. Amazon pays UK Express to deliver parcels for it.
