When I was asked how to find a “reliable Chinese partner”, my instinct response always be like,”with great care”.\u00a0If you want me to go detail, I would say, it depends on your business. If its a $50,000 deal, search on internet, for example, type in on Google “mattress protector manufacturer China<\/a>” or “\u4e2d\u56fd\u5e8a\u7b20\u5236\u9020\u5546<\/a>“. If its a deal scales $5,000,000, the search process requires more. Here are three options I list out:<\/div>\n

Do it yourself, from the mattress protector of your own bed. <\/strong>Use a online platform like Alibaba<\/a> or Global Sources<\/a>, where has lots of Chinese manufacturers and use a filter to select out ones with longer business running history, and \u00a0better reputation. On these platform,I dealed with Chinese suppliers with amazing\u00a0great\u00a0relationship, and also those are terrible nightmare. In my experience, if you looking for product relatively simple and don’t care about qualities or customization too much, these platforms are good option.\"3\"<\/li>\n
  2. Do it yourself, fly to China in person. <\/strong>A in person visit to china solves out three key problems. First, a visit to the factory give you a clear look of how your product being produced, and how the quality being controlled. These, however, can only be gleaned from website. \u00a0Second, you have the chance to meet with the key person to exchange your idea and improve your relationship. Third, it increase the likelihood of getting your goods better, since Chinese manufacturer would understand that you taking their business seriously.\"6\"<\/li>\n
  3. Find an intermediary to conduct the research on your behalf. <\/b>You should first decide whether you need an intermediary. If you do, pick the one very carefully. These companies charge you an upfront flat fee. Some of them are invaluable. Your contact with manufacturer and intermediary should be written on paper to protect you. It happens when intermediary come to us with bad product and tell you the reason the manufacturer do not provide them products because they two don’t have a contract.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
