Ideal fill weights vary according to preference and climate.<\/p>\n

This represents the \u201coriginal\u201d fill power which is used for all labels, advertising and marketing claims. Occasionally subsequent measurements will drop as a result of compression, shipping, and storage of the finished product. However, consumer use can often return fill power to its original value.<\/p>\n
Another fill quality to take into consideration is warmth rating. These range from ultra-light through deep winter. If you live in a warm area, choose a lower rating. If you live in an area where winter temperatures drop below zero, choose a comforter with a deep winter rating. Take your own sleeping temperature preference into consideration, too. If you get overheated easily, choose a low-to-medium range rating.<\/p>\n
